Today we slept in, made breakfast, were lazy for several more hours, then went to Gatorland.
Gatorland is one of those touristy things that you just have to do. The name pretty much says it all -- there are areas where dozens of gators congregate and lay out in the sun, as well as areas where you can get a closer look. There were lots of neat birds, snakes and a petting zoo. Here are a few highlights:

Best dollar we spent all day... a stick of bird food for Owen. He could've spent the whole day feeding birds!

Jonathan seems to attract feathered friends

These goats were hilarious -- they even gave handshakes in exchange for food

Yep, bird.

We went to an alligator wrestling show. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but it is raining extremely hard. A really bad storm with thunder and lightning rolled through... while we were sitting on metal bleachers. Great combination, yes?

perdy flamingoes

Believe it or not, I spared you from dozens more bird and gator pics. You can thank me later.
