Well, it's October already. The leaves are turning beautiful colors, the air smells lovely, and we Griffiths stop in the midst of it all to ponder how broke we are and how our fast-approaching birthdays will only further our debt. I've proposed some budget cuts which involve selling some unnecessary items, like a particular large black dog, a RISK game and an excessive coin collection, but my dear husband does not approve of this. In fact, he wants to ADD to his collection of weird things with this birthday list he recently made up at my request:
- 2006 Proof Set
- Cool airsoft gun
- red or white t-shirt with designs and/or words on it (love that one)
- 1999-2005 or '06 Proof Set box
- retainer (Yes, a retainer. His dentist says he needs one, but it's too expensive)
- white chocolate/raspberry cheesecake from Sam's
- Big jar of pepperocini peppers from Sam's
- for Kristi to play a game of RISK with me
- a Bowflex
- coal
I'm thinking the last one looks like a winner.
