Owen's preschool Valentine's Day party is tomorrow so he is obviously allowed to bring a valentine and/or treats to share with his 10 classmates. Judging by the ever-growing to-do list I have, the smartest thing would have been to go to Target and get a box of [insert cartoon here] valentines, in which all I have to do is tear them apart and scribble some names on them.
Nope. Too easy. I decided instead to be all Martha Stewart-ey (Literally. I got the idea from her website.) and made Valentine flowers out of Tootsie Roll pops. I'm not sure why I spent so much time on something that a three-year-old will not appreciate or keep intact for more than six seconds, but hopefully Owen will have a fun time handing them out.
