DAY... WHATEVER.

Fast forward... we made it home around 10:30 tonight, a day earlier than planned to give me time to get some work stuff done and prepare for my parents' anniversary reception on Saturday. Soon after we got home, Jonathan got online and browsed through our accounts. To our surprise, there were two PayPal charges on one of our credit cards -- one for $23.00 and one for $1755.00. Yeah, not good at all. Upon investigating the PayPal account, it looks like someone used the name Nick Garofolo to purchase an iPhone and something else.

So, "Nick", if you're reading this, I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for hacking into my PayPal account. I hope you enjoy your iPhone. Give me a ring on it sometime! Perhaps you have my phone number as well.

To PayPal: Hello! Thank you for putting a flag on our account AFTER someone of a different name with a different email address spent several thousand dollars using a PayPal account that hadn't been used in over a year.

PayPal is investigating the fraud and it looks like we SHOULD get our money back. Phew. So it looks like our vacation was sandwiched between vandalism and fraud. What next?!
