Today Owen found a spider web in the bush. He was excited. We could have left it there, but nooooooooooo... Jonathan felt that it was necessary to hunt for the spider's supper. The next thing I knew, both of them were on an intense cricket hunt. It's a good thing that impressing our neighbors is not a priority, because the boys looked like chickens pecking at our front yard.
They eventually found a few crickets, fed them to the spider, and Owen got a hands-on science lesson.
Weirdos.

Did they pull the legs off the crickets? So they didn't destroy the spider's web?
